Twenty new job opportunities in Peterborough as local company expands

In what is a significant boost to the local economy nearly twenty permanent jobs will be created in Peterborough, as chemicals manufacturer Safapac launches a recruitment drive to meet increasing demands for its services.

The company, which this month celebrates ten years of doing business in the city, is looking for packing line leaders, manufacturing operatives, maintenance engineers, maintenance technicians, warehouse operatives, an engineering manager and a finance clerk.

The job opportunities stem from the company’s continued investment in capability due to an ever-increasing demand from customers.

Successful applicants will join Safapac’s 50-strong team and will benefit from the company’s training and development programme. The firm prides itself on staff retention and has a reputation for rewarding loyalty, with many employees having been with the company since its relocation to Peterborough.

“Safapac is prospering and rapidly expanding, so we are urgently looking to fill a range of positions across different areas of the business,” says MD Barry Cornett. “Some of these require certain skill sets and experience but there are opportunities for younger people too. If you are enthusiastic, ambitious and quick to learn then we want to hear from you.”
