Quality Management

Quality Commitment

Our Quality Policy at Safapac Ltd is to determine, agree and conform to our customers’ needs and expectations, whilst fulfilling the requirements of ISO9001: 2015, British Standards, industry codes of practice and law.

Established in 1996 and highly qualified, we pride ourselves on the quality, integrity and traceability of all  formulations, packing them to the highest standards and continually striving to gain new industry approvals. Shift chemists oversee all areas of production to ensure compliance with CropLife International (ECPA) guidelines, GMP, ISO standards and other regulations. We also hold a manufacturing licence issued by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), which allows us to manufacture specialist internal and external veterinary medicines.

Information provided by our customers is handled with strict confidence, this is seen as critical to the success of the business. It is essential that our customers can trust us with their intellectual property.  After introductions, the first step on the road to working with us is to agree and sign non-disclosure confidentiality agreements. It is important to us that our customers are comfortable discussing their products in full without fear of data misuse.

Integrity, Flexibility and Honesty

We aim to always offer our customer’s a responsive and flexible service, supporting regular production and short term changes to the best of our abilities. We understand a reliable and honest service is one of the most important factors when deciding on a contract business partner. Therefore, we will not over-promise nor cancel work due to alternative offers. Integrity and honestly are fundamental to the way we operate.

We also recognise the critical importance of excellent communication with our customers supply chain, both timely and accurate. We can proudly say our customer service team excel in this respect, often acknowledged by our clients.

Quality in Production

Full Batch Traceability

Full on-site traceability of all our manufactured batches and materials is fundamental to the way we operate at Safapac. The batch traceability measures in place allow us to trace all products back to their origins and mean that a full history of operations and components is available. Subsequently, we are able to instil the upmost confidence in our customers when manufacturing and packing their goods. Information is kept ‘live’ through our bespoke ERP system, enabling us to provide customers answers to the status of their order every time they call, without the wait.

Samples and extensive batch records are kept of all product manufactured and packed.

CropLife guideline compliance – Segregation

When it comes to the potential for cross contamination of products, we follow the tightest practices, ensuring our plants are fully segregated where necessary. In line with these CropLife rules and due to the nature of chemical potency, Safapac has two separate formulation plants for the production of herbicides and non-herbicides, and a third plant in a seperate building for high potency products. A rigorous clean down procedure of equipment takes place between campaigns, this is then confirmed and verified by analytical tests. This means our customer have the maximum confidence in our capabilities and product quality.
